Critical Thinking for Understanding Deck
Goals: To foster regular critical analysis of any creative endeavor, particularly: visual arts, performing arts and literature.
Uses: teacher-lead group discussion, student pairings, individual written response, or in a museum setting as a stimulus for conversation and deeper appreciation.
I plan to publish this activity as a playing card deck for classroom and home use with accompanying curriculum links and lessons to adapt for many educational settings. I'm excited about the wonderful student conversations that have formed as a result of this activity and I look forward to sharing it with others.
